Three persons killed in Delhi landslide

Three persons, including a three-year-old, were killed and two others were injured in a landslide in West Delhi.

Three persons, including a three-year-old child, were killed and two others injured in a landslide in a West Delhi locality on Monday.

Fire Department officials said the landslide took place at around 10:30 am at Najafgarh Chowk in Moti Nagar, where a mall was under construction.

The dead included two labourers who were working in the under-construction mall, Gore Lal and Lalit, both 18 years old, as well as a three-year-old girl Lakshmi.

Genda (35) and Tapan (10) were injured in the accident. They have been admitted at a nursing home nearby.

Rescue operation was on and there was a possibility of some more workers being trapped in the debris, the officials said.
