Tiffs, cleavage & more
All of this and more in a freewheeling chat with Kangana Ranaut.india Updated: Oct 13, 2006 18:35 IST
With just two flicks to her kitty, actress Kangna Ranaut has already made an impact in Bollywood. In conversation with HTTabloid, the sensuous beauty talks about flaunting her booty on screen, alleged tiff with Shiney Ahuja and the secret to her bootylicious body.
Industry is abuzz with gossip about your fallout with co-star Shiney Ahuja. What's the truth in this?
It's all rubbish. I also heard this rumour. There is nothing like that, no issues with Shiney. He is a very good friend and a thorough professional. There is no question of any dispute between us.
Do you think baring assets on-screen can sell an actress today?
I seriously believe that today your cleavage can attract people to the cinema halls however sexy and hot it may be. You have to team oomph with your acting. Both the things are important.
So is that what you have done in Woh Lamhe?
In Woh Lamhe, the demand of the character was to show off cleavage and expose. The character of Parveen Bobby can't afford to be unglamorous because the actress herself was a symbol of beauty and glamour. But there is a lot beyond exposure. It is the story of a beautiful girl who is schizophrenic and who met a lonely end in her life.
You figure among the most beautiful women in Bollywood. Do you follow any secret formula for maintaining your looks?
Physical appearance is god gifted and there is no doubt that to maintain it is in our hands. I do yoga regularly especially Pranayam. It brings charm on my face and secondly I just stay away from dieting. For a healthy mind and body, these two things must be followed.
