Tiger found dead in Uttarakhand

A tiger’s body was found at Ramnagar forest division close to Jim Corbett Park in Uttarakhand early today. The villagers informed forest officials that the body was half-decomposed, but seems intact.

A tiger’s body was found at Ramnagar forest division close to Jim Corbett Park in Uttarakhand early on Thursday morning. The villagers informed forest officials that the body was half-decomposed, but seems intact.

Chandan Bangari, a villager told Hindustan Times over phone “Early morning villagers found a dead tiger in Syat Van Panchayat of Ramnagar division. The body was decayed. But, all it’s body parts seems intact.”

When contacted Division Forest Officer (DFO) Ravindra Juyal said he was on his way to the spot to get details about the tiger death.
