Do you think twice before disclosing your credit card numbers, photographs or personal details on the Net? The answer is surely yes. Welcome to the club of Net-o-freaks, people who deal on the Net but are still apprehensive of trusting it completely.
Internet sure changed the world decade ago. It made communication fast and cheap but also invited troubles for the users. Spams, frauds and information swap are just minor examples of how things can go wrong on the Net.
Sopra Group ( India) has developed a software which helps individuals and oraganistaions tackle with internet fraud. Sopra Group’s CEO, Pankaj Agarwal, discusses his new product, its utility and offers some tips for people dealing on the net.
Excerpts from an interview:
You have developed software that helps tackle internet fraud. Tell us more about it. We have developed the software for a California-based software company called Business Signatures.
The company was looking to develop a new enterprise management solution to combat the problems while managing their huge infrastructure. They chose us,the Sopra Group (India), to take on the project.
The scope of the project included, development, testing and research and development. We worked in close co-ordination to the client to understand their requirements, including architecture and functionality.
