The traffic on ill-fated Jalandhar-Pathankot track where Ahmedabad-bound Jammu Tawi Express collided head-on with a local train killing 37 people and injuring 50 others, was restored in the wee hours of Wednesday.

The track was restored at 3.55 am and the first train to cross over was 4646 down Shalimar Express, they said.

The sources said all trains, except Jammu Tawi-Ahmedabad Super Fast Express would ply on the track as usual.
