Officegoers using the Central Railway's Main Line were an inconvenienced lot as local train services were affected due to an agitation by the Shiv Sena workers and a technical fault in a rake on Friday morning.

"The Sena workers started a 'rail roko' at the city's Mulund Station at 0940 hours protesting against fuel price hike by the UPA government stalling services," a Central Railway spokesperson said.
The agitating workers were dispersed and the services resumed around 25 minutes later, he said.
Earlier, a train suffered a "technical fault", due to which it halted longer at the Nahur railway station, affecting the services, a Government Railway Police official said.
