A quake of mild intensity rattled Himachal Pradesh for the third consecutive day today, triggering panic among residents.

A quake of mild intensity rattled Himachal Pradesh for the third consecutive day on Thursday, triggering panic among residents.
"Light intensity tremors were felt for a few seconds at 8.33pm on Thursday," said an official of the seismological centre at Dharamsala.
The epicentre was on the Chamba-Lahaul Spiti border, the same as on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"There is some seismic activity on in the region. We are trying to ascertain the reason," the official added.
No casualty or damage to property was reported.
