They also handed over a four-point memorandum to additional commissioner CM Mishra and demanded immediate redresser of their long pending demands.

Expressing his views on this occasion, the secretary of the association, Bal Chand said that despite repeated reminders, the officials did not pay attention to their demands. He said the building of trade tax office at Rapti Nagar, Surajkund was in pathetic condition. “Department is facing shortage of stationery but commissioner trade tax has turned a blind eye towards these realities”, he mentioned. He even said that the senior clerk who was retired 11 months ago were still doing the official job on the same post and demanded that the retired employees should not be permitted to work in office.

Zonal president of the association Brijesh Kumar Maurya and secretary R Samson said the lip services by the officials would not pacify the anger of the employees and they threatened to intensify their agitation.
