Twelve people killed in accident near Barmer
The accident occurred on the National Highway number 15, about 6 kms away from Barmer, when the jeep was trying to overtake the truck.

Twelve people were on Friday killed and eight others injured when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a truck near Barmer, a police official said.
The accident occurred on the National Highway number 15, about 6 kms away from Barmer, when the jeep was trying to overtake the truck, Superintendent of Police Umesh Chand Dutta said.
The passengers were on way to Dhorimana.
The injured were rushed to the Barmer government hospital. The seriously injured might be shifted to Jodhpur's Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, the SP said.
