Two children were killed and as many sustained injuries in an explosion today in Biaora area in Rajgarh.

The injured have been rushed to the hospital where their condition is stated to be critical, police sources said.

"We are investigation the incident," Rajgarh Superintendent of Police (SP) Asha Mathur told PTI.

"Right now we are not in a position to say how the explosion took place or what caused the explosion," she said adding the injured are not a position to give their statement and the priority is to save their lives first.

"The explosion took place when the kids were playing in their house," police said.

The deceased have been identified as Zeenat (6) and Arif (14) and injured as Aman (7) and Fazan (8), police said.
