A mother and her daughter were killed and nine others were injured when unidentified persons hurled bombs at a group of mourners in western Bangladesh late on Wednesday.

Dipali Das, wife of Ananda Kumar Das, died on the spot while her daughter Prarthana succumbed to her injuries later at a hospital, officials said.
Police said that Dipali died after one of the hurled bombs hit her head during a ritual to mark the first death anniversary of her father.
Police have arrested three suspects, Shipon Das, Sunil Das and Milan Das.
Police, however, could not immediately comment on the motive for the attack.
