The suspects - a 19-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman - were arrested on Friday and Saturday with $2,82,050 worth of ketamine hidden in their luggage, the government said in a statement.
They will be charged with trafficking dangerous drugs, which carries a maximum penalty of life in prison and a fine of $641,000, the statement said.
The government said the suspects arrived from Kuala Lumpur. Their names and hometowns weren't given.
Ketamine is a powerful anaesthetic that can cause hallucinations and render the user unable to move.
