Two injured in building collapse in Mumbai

Two persons were injured when a portion of a dilapidated three-storeyed building near JJ hospital in south Mumbai collapsed on Saturday.

The building, located at Maulana Shekat Ali Road, was under repairs being carried out by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority, police sources said adding that the mishap occurred in the evening.

The injured were rushed to JJ hospital.

The cause of the mishap was not immediately known and further details were awaited, the sources said.
