Two killed, six injured in lightning strike in Bihar

Two persons were killed and six others injured when they were stuck by lightning at Ugra village in Bihar's Darbhanga district.

Two persons were killed and six others injured when they were stuck by lightning at Ugra village in Bihar's Darbhanga district on Wednesday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police DK Mishra told PTI that the two, including a woman, were killed and the six injured as they were struck by lightning while working in a paddy field in the village under Bahadurpur police station.

Mishra said all the six persons who received burn injuries were admitted to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital.
