Two RPF men arrested for demanding bribe

Two Railway Protection Force personnel have been arrested by the CBI in Hardoi district for allegedly demanding bribe, officials said in Lucknow.

Two Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel have been arrested by the CBI in Hardoi district for allegedly demanding bribe, officials said in Lucknow on Thursday.

RPF inspector Indradev Singh and constable Raghvendra Shukla were arrested after they demanded Rs 25,000 as bribe from a farmer Rajiv Gupta to submit a report in the court for release of his tractor which was seized some days back, they said.

A case under Prevention of Corruption Act was registered against them
