Two test positive for H1N1; condition stable

Two college students, who returned to Coimbatore after holidaying in Kerala, tested positive for H1N1 virus, but were in stable condition and would be discharged in a few days, sources at Coimbatore medical college hospital said.

Two college students, who returned to Coimbatore after holidaying in Kerala, tested positive for H1N1 virus, but were in stable condition and would be discharged in a few days, sources at Coimbatore medical college hospital said.

The two, students of a private college in Coimbatore, complained of throat pain, fever and were admitted to the hospital on July 1. Swab tests confirmed they had contracted the virus, hospital sources said. The students have been quarantined and had been given Tamiflu tablets, the sources said, adding they would be discharged in a few days.
