Thackeray was speaking at a function at Dahisar where he inaugurated a Zen Natural Park, where age-old stones have been preserved and beautified.
It was Thackeray’s idea to develop a garden of these ancient stones at Dahisar.
He held the builders’ lobby responsible for destruction of mangroves in the city. It is affecting the soil and water levels in lakes are receding, he said.
Thackeray is just back from the first phase of a four-day campaigning tour Shiv Sanvad Daura (a tour to interact with the people), addressing around 30 public meetings in different parts of Marathwada.
