Terrorists gunned down nine Hindus, abducted from a village in Udhampur district of Jammu region on Sunday, raising the number of people killed in this kidnap incident to 13.

An official spokesman for Jammu and Kashmir police confirmed the recovery of nine more bodies belonging to the minority community from Basantgarh area of the district.

The bodies of four Hindus were recovered on Sunday, the spokesman said, adding that there was no confirmation of the exact number of people abducted by the terrorists from the district.
