UK award for Jet’s Naresh and Anita Goyal
The couple received the award from Geoff Hoon, United Kingdom Secretary of State for Transport, at the House of Commons, as part of the Asian Voice Political and Public Life Awards 2008.
Chairman of Jet Airways Naresh Goyal and his wife Anita, executive vice-president, have been voted ‘International Entrepreneurs of the Year’ by readers of Asian Voice, the largest circulated daily among the Asian community in Britain.
The couple received the award from Geoff Hoon, United Kingdom Secretary of State for Transport, at the House of Commons, as part of the Asian Voice Political and Public Life Awards 2008.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Goyal said, “Awards such as these only spur us on to greater effort, and are a tribute to the efforts put in by every member of the Jet Airways family to make our vision a reality.”
The Asian Voice Political and Public Life Awards are presented to people who have made a special impact in the preceding year, either internationally, or in their local communities.
The other important awards that Jet Airways has won in the recent past is ‘Best Indian Airline’ at the Business Traveller Awards 2008.
