Patel told reporters here last evening that when Rajnath Singh became BJP president, he said the party will push forward the alliance’s ideologies but the success of Bharti’s yatra has forced him to express his faith in Hindutva.
Reiterating that Bharti will float a national-level party, which will take shape by next month, he claimed both BJP and the Congress leaders were eager to join her party.
On by-elections in Gwalior and Sidhi parliamentary constituencies, Patel said the upcoming outfit will take part with full vigour in every activity that will strengthen democracy.
A staunch supporter of Bharti, Patel claimed he had enough legislators to bring down the BJP government but he did not wish to be behind the toppling.
