UPPCL reverts to ?names? of UPSEB era
OFFICERS POSTED in the UP Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) will now be known by designations in use before the trifurcation of the UP State Electricity Board (UPSEB).

OFFICERS POSTED in the UP Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) will now be known by designations in use before the trifurcation of the UP State Electricity Board (UPSEB).
Bowing to the UP Rajya Vidyut Parishad Abhiyanta Sangh’s demand for changing the designations to maintain the identity of engineering services, the UPPCL management today issued orders in this regard.
Now, a chief general manager will be known as chief engineer (Level-1), a general manager as chief engineer (Level-2) and a deputy general manager as superintending engineer.
The engineers have welcomed the change.
