2 Don’t programme the GPS while driving: It is always felt that you are a safer driver with a GPS navigating device. But programming your GPS while driving can be distracting. So, always do it before you start your journey.

3 Focus on voice direction: Relying on voice directions will make you see less on the device screen and listen more.

4 Update your maps from time to time: Due to various infrastructure developments, it is always better to update your maps periodically so that it doesn’t give you wrong directions of old roads and flyovers.

5 Never leave the mount on your screen: If you’re not using the device, it is recommended to remove the suction mount from the car screen. Suction capacity of the mount can be hampered due to heat.

4 Avoid heavily tinted windows and wind screen: Avoid heavily tinted windows and wind screen in the car if you are using a GPS navigator, which will help you benefit from the GPS services without any signal problem.
