Vaishnodevi pilgrim falls from pony, dies

A woman pilgrim died after she fell from a pony back enroute to Vaishnodevi Temple in Katra area of Reasi district.

Sudershna Devi (63) of Bhawani Nagar in Punjab's Amritsar died on Saturday after she fell from a pony back, police said.

Police have registered a case against one Raj Kumar, from whom the woman had hired the pony.
