The university will be closed from September 20 to 22 in view of the CM’s programme.
District magistrate nominated 59 sub-ordinate officials to monitor the distribution of cheques and transportation of the unemployed youths and girls to benefit under Kanya Vidya Dhan scheme.
He also directed the Roadways officials to make proper arrangement of buses to carry the beneficiaries from various development blcoks and others district of the division.
While at one the hand district administration is busy giving final touches to the chief minister programme, the activists of ruling Samajwadi Party are also organising meetings to ensure the success of the programme. Expressing his views at such a meeting, district unit president of the party Chandrabali Yadav exhorted the party workers to enumerate the achievement of the government among the people and to create an atmosphere in favour of the the Samajwadi Party.
He said around 100 welcome gates would be erected in the city in honour of the chief minister and claimed that the unemployment allowances scheme started by the SP had stopped youths from joining the Naxalite movement. He claimed that the party had made considerable ground due to its pro-people policies and party workers must work hard to highlight these decisions.
State Minister Rambhual Nishad, former MLC Devendra Pratap Singh, MLA Sharda Devi, senior party leaders Zafar Amin Dakku, Rupesh Chand Yadav, Maina Bhai and others expressed hope that the chief minister’s visit would boost the morale of party workers.
