VIP quota allotment not at NCR hqs
NORTH CENTRAL Railway (NCR) administration has decided to transfer the VIP/HOR quota allotment work from the divisional railway manager’s office to headquarters office of the commercial branch.
NCR chief public relations officer Bagish Pandey informed in a press release issued on Friday that with effect from August 1, the applications of HOR/VIP quota would be entertained in the commercial branch at 9th floor, Sangam Palace, Civil Lines, Allahabad from Monday to Friday.
On Saturday, Sunday and other gazetted holidays, the applications would be entertained at the public relations office near Balmiki crossing on Nawab Yusuf Road. The allotment of quota of morning trains of August 1, like Mumbai Mail, Purshottam Exp, Jodhpur Exp, would be done from the DRM’s office on July 31 as usual, the CPRO stated.
Debate competition: A debate competition was organised by North Central Railway (NCR) at Chief Security Commissioner’s office on Friday.
The topic for the debate was Human Rights. The debate was held with the objective to generate awareness among people regarding human rights, said Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, RPF Sunil Kumar Singh. Five RPF personnel from various divisions of NCR and NER participated in the competition.
Out of the five participants, Rinku Singh, lady constable from Allahabad division (against the motion) and Premanand from Allahabad division (for the motion) stood first in the competition, said Singh.
The two selected RPF personnel would participate in the debate competition to be held in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Academy, Mussourie, on July 31.
The competition would be sponsored by National Human Rights Commission, Singh said.
Commandant RPF Agra division Pradeep Gupta, Assistant Commandant Passenger Security NCR SQA Rizvi and Assistant Commandant Prosecution Lalji Bharti were among those present on the occasion.
