"If there is persistent defiance or default, disciplinary action cannot be ruled out", party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters when asked about Jagat's charge that Finance Minsiter P Chidambaram has instructed the Enforecement Directorate to "find something" against him "even if it is not Volcker-related."

Singhvi, however, said that he was making a general statement and not related to any individual.
