Water supply to be hit for two days
WATER SUPPLY in some parts of the City would be affected on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning following the closure of feedermain pipeline of Kolar supply system on Wednesday.
WATER SUPPLY in some parts of the City would be affected on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning following the closure of feedermain pipeline of Kolar supply system on Wednesday.
According to information, the Kolar feedermain-one pipeline from Kolar Crossing to PGBT would be closed from 10 am for the repairing two leakages respectively at Habibganj Railway Crossing and Alpana Talkies Trisection. The officials hoped that the repairs would be completed by 6 pm. Therefore, the overhead tank of some areas may not be filled.
This would affect water supply on Wednesday evening in the areas connected to overhead tanks of PGBT, Bal Vihar, Indrapuri, Sonagiri, Chandbarh and Govindpura. On Thursday morning, the water supply would be affected in E-1 to E-4 sectors of Arera Colony.
The BMC officials said that the supply would be streamlined from Thursday evening in these areas. The other areas connected to Kolar supply system would remain unaffected.
