“We had a meeting with the organising committee and the organising secretary has apologised and assured us that everything will be taken care of. Now everything has been sorted out and the players are concentrating on their matches,” said India team manager M. Padmanabhan from England.

Taking note of the incident, sports minister MS Gill asked his officers to take up the matter with the British authorities on Sunday.

The shooters had complained of being humiliated by the organisers. While boarding the bus from the range to the hotel, the driver slammed the door on Manavjit Singh Sandhu leaving him stranded. When the other shooters on the bus objected, the driver went to the supervisor who, in turn, yelled and screamed at Sandhu.
