?Weapons seized from Uday ratap?s residence?

UTTAR PRADESH Police Constable Dinesh Kumar Mishra today testified before the Special POTA Court here that the weapons had been seized from the residence of Uday Pratap Singh, father of UP Minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya at Bhadri in Pratapgarh, UP.

UTTAR PRADESH Police Constable Dinesh Kumar Mishra today testified before the Special POTA Court here that the weapons had been seized from the residence of Uday Pratap Singh, father of UP Minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya at Bhadri in Pratapgarh, UP.

The Constable also told the court yesterday that during the raid he had seen AK-56 rifle slung on Uday’s shoulder. The seized arms were produced before the Special Court Judge A K Mishra, during recording of evidences of the constable.
Earlier, 10 witnesses had turned hostile.

The UP police claimed to have seized Chinese made AK 56 rifle, some cartridges, magazines and a haul of explosive from the residence of Uday Pratap Singh (75) in January 2003.

Raja Bhaiyya, his father Uday Pratap Singh and cousin Pratapgarh MP Akshay Pratap Singh are being tried here under Section 25 of Arms Act and Section 3/ 4 of POTA following the Supreme Court’s directive on November 10 last.
