Webber took pole ahead of Mercedes' Nico Rosberg and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel after a qualifying which was temporarily stopped due to heavy rain.

Force India's Adrian Sutil was fourth, ahead of Williams' Nico Hulkenberg.

The Ferraris and the McLarens miscalculated that rain would clear in the opening qualifying session, and waited to start, but conditions worsened.
