Bhatia said that the government was determined to extend all possible help to the lawyers. He asked the lawyers to wait for the forthcoming budget of the State government in this regard, where more provisions were likely to be added for the welfare of lawyers.

He said, he did everything possible for the lawyers as he derived strength from them.

Recalling late Tribhuwan Upadhyaya, he said one should take inspiration from him as Upadhyay, a handicapped who had lost both his hands in an accident, never compromised with circumstances and became a successful lawyer and leader of the Bar as well.

Addressing the gathering a member of the UP Bar Council, Amarendra Nath Singh, lauded the efforts of the Advocate General in getting various projects passed for the welfare of lawyers.

The programme was presided over by HCBA president CL Pandey and was conducted by secretary IK Chaturvedi.
