According to prosecution, Niti, who lived in a rented house of Silver Oaks in DLF City, hatched the plot with her cook Nandlal and took the help of Zile Singh and Radheyshyam to kill Aditya Kumar, a sugar mill owner from Uttar Pradesh, who used to sexually abuse her even after the couple divorced.

Police said Kumar’s body was found in Behror, Rajasthan on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. His head was smashed after being strangled to death. The couple had been divorced for a fortnight and estranged for longer, but he continued to exploit her.
