Woman gangraped in Dwarka, 5 held
The Delhi Police have arrested five persons who had abducted a woman from Dwarka and took her to a farmhouse in Chhawla where they raped her.
The Delhi Police have arrested five persons who had abducted a woman from Dwarka and took her to a farmhouse in Chhawla where they raped her.
Police said the incident took place on Wednesday night when the victim was waiting for a friend at Dwarka and four persons in a Maruti Eeco car abducted her.
"They took her to a farmhouse in Chhawla area and raped her one by one. One of the accused father works at the farmhouse. All of them have been arrested," a senior police officer said. The victim made the PCR call from the farmhouse and the police took her to the hospital.
Her medical examination has confirmed rape. The arrested persons have been identified as Sunil, Yoginder, Brahma, Anil and Rajesh.
Sunil's father works at the farmhouse while Anil is a driver and the car in which they abducted the girl belonged to Anil. All the accused were drunk.
Police have impounded the vehicle and the accused have been booked for rape and abduction charges.
