Addressing a programme at Campierganj block here, Adityanath alleged that a State minister in Mulayam Singh Yadav’s Cabinet was involved in a murder case.
He said people’s welfare was his objective and that membership of Parliament was not a status symbol for him. He called upon the people to elect MPs, MLAs and block pramukhs who believed in a similar ideology and wished to carry out development projects. Recalling the contributions of former chief minister Veer Bahadur Singh in the development of eastern UP, Adityanath said he had designed a model for development projects in the region, but it was only limited to paper. Later, Adityanath distributed blankets among the people along with MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh.
