Youth Festival concludes

AFTER A spectacular performance by artistes, the three-day 11th State Youth Festival concluded here today. Chief guest of the valedictory function, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, speaking on the occasion said that every possible step for the welfare of youth would be taken by the State Government.

AFTER A spectacular performance by artistes, the three-day 11th State Youth Festival concluded here today. Chief guest of the valedictory function, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, speaking on the occasion said that every possible step for the welfare of youth would be taken by the State Government. “We are committed for the welfare of youth”, said Chouhan.

He appreciated the Sports Department for giving support to the youths. Ravishankar Dwivedi and Ruchi Joshi of Bhopal stood first in the Mridangam and Bharatnatyam respectively. In the other events, Akshay Jadhav of Indore in tabla, Mahendra Bua of Ujjian in sitar, Surendra of Ujjain in flute and Indore team in Chari categories stood first.

Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Director Sports Sanjay Chaudhary, joint director Dr Vinod Pradhan, Jalaj Chaturvedi and others were present on the occasion.
