"I want to come into rhythm starting from the first match itself," said Zaheer during his visit to team-mate Harbhajan Singh's saloon along with four others.
Among the other who accompanied the 26-year-old were Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag, Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh.
When asked Harbhajan said India could not consider Pakistan as a weak side and would need to perform well.
"We cannot take them as weak side. We will have to perform well," he said.
On his bowling action, he said: "That chapter is over now now. I am not even thinking about it. I am concentrating on the series ahead."
India will play first Test of the three-match series against Pakistan from March 8 at Mohali.
