Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Rising Pune Supergiants in Pune on Sunday.
Mumbai Indians have won four of their eight matches thus far and lie fifth on the points table, while Rising Pune have struggled, losing three overseas players due to injury and have won just two of their seven matches so far.
