A 16-year-old Dalit girl was abducted by two men and gang-raped in a moving SUV in Chattargarh sub-division of Bikaner district, police said on Monday.

The accused allegedly filmed the act and uploaded it on internet.

According to the police, the minor girl was returning home from her farms on Sunday when Balram and Aduram Jat abducted her in an SUV and raped her in the moving vehicles taking turns.

The victim alleged that the accused recorded the act and posted it on internet before dumping her on a roadside, said deputy superintendent of police Ismail Khan, the investigating officer in the case. The accused are on the run, he added.

The girl somehow managed to reach her home and narrated the ordeal to her family members, who then informed the police.

The police have registered a case under various sections of the IPC and the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

The medical examination of the girl has confirmed the assault, the police said, adding that the police parties are carrying out raids on suspected hideouts to nab the accused.
