Truck runs over three women in Jaipur

A woman and two girls have been killed and four others injured when a pickup truck ran over them while they were sleeping on the roadside.

A woman and two girls were killed and four others were injured when a pickup truck ran over them while they were sleeping on the roadside at Nabhawala village, 40 km from here.

Dhanni Devi (75), Kumari Nisha (15) and Kumari Shakshi (5) were killed while four other women were injured and admitted to Dausa Government Hospital, police said.

The driver fled leaving the vehicle behind which was on its way from Dausa to Santhal, police said.
