Acting on a tip-off from Army intelligence, a joint team of police and the Eastern Command Military Intelligence Unit raided the apartment in Jadavpore and arrested the seven, including three women.

Two arrested persons belong to People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) Shanti faction, army sources in Kolkata said adding they were identified as Maisnam German Singh and Maksha Terbam Guniondo Singh.

Their accomplices were Sonamoni Sharma, K Suresh Singh, Rita Devi, K Geeta Devi and Rojita Devi. "They named some leaders of a militant organisation in Manipur with whom they are connected," the police said.
