The Sri Lankan assessed the security arrangements, visited the stadium galleries, four of them being closed because of the renovation work, before meeting with the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) officials.

"Tomorrow, he will assess the route on which the team will travel from the hotel to the stadium. He will meet the Commissioner of Kolkata Police Goutam Mohan Chakraborty on November 28 before heading to Delhi to assess the arrangement for the fifth ODI," a CAB official said.

The Sri Lankan, however, refused to talk to media.

Fernando is here in Kolkata after assessing the security arrangements in Rajkot, Vishakhapatnam and Cuttack, venues of the first, second and third ODIs.
