Stephen Court owner remanded in police custody
The owner of Stephen Court on Park Street in Kolkata was on Thursday remanded in five days of police custody in connection with the fire that razed the heritage building on March 23 killing 43 people.

The owner of Stephen Court on Park Street in Kolkata was on Thursday remanded in five days of police custody in connection with the fire that razed the heritage building on March 23 killing 43 people.
Sanjay Bagaria, was arrested from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.
"Though we demanded 14 days of police custody, the court has given five days of remand," an investigating officer said.
Six persons, including three directors of the building were listed in the charge sheet in connection with the fire. Liftman Tarun Bagaria and caretakers Ram Shankar Singh and Joy Prakash Singh were arrested earlier.
