Terrorists can't destabilise India: Pranab

Union finance minister Pranab Mukherjee today said that terrorists were mistaken if they thought that they would be able to destabilise India.

"If the terrorists feel that they will be able to destabilise India, then they are utterly mistaken and we will be able to overcome the challenge," the veteran Congress leader said in Kolkata while condemning the serial blasts in Mumbai.

"We have deep sympathy for the blast victims and the incident of such nature will strengthen our resolve to fight terrorism," Mukherjee told reporters on the sidelines of a meeting with revenue officials.
