Ankita Konwar nails the Chakrasana in a saree, Milind Soman goes 'woah'

Ankita Konwar broke the norms as she performed the Chakrasana in a saree for her latest Instagram post. Her husband and actor Milind Soman was stunned and took to the comments section to express the same.
Milind Soman's wife, Ankita Konwar, is proving that no task is impossible when one sets their mind to it. She preached the idea of being bold enough to go beyond the accepted norms in her latest Instagram post. She did so by sharing a picture of herself doing the Chakrasana, also known as the Urdhva Dhanurasana or the Wheel Pose, in a saree. Yes, you read that right. Even Milind was blown away by her photo.
Ankita Konwar posted two pictures of herself wearing a bright yellow embroidered saree. In one photo, she sat on the ground in a coy and shy manner. In the other picture, she nailed the Chakrasana. Thus, breaking the norms.
Ankita captioned her post, "Be bold enough to go beyond the accepted norms. #mekhelasador #axomiyasuwali #loveyourself #thursdayvibes." See the post here.

Ankita chose a yellow mekhela sador with a pink blouse to nail the yoga asana. She did the pose by bending her body backwards, with her torso facing the ceiling and lifted in the air. The yoga asana is best known for improving spine flexibility and strength. It is a stretching exercise for the whole body. Additionally, it tones the abdominal region, cures backache, relieves stress and strengthens your body.
After Ankita posted the picture, fans took to the comments section to praise the fitness enthusiast. Her husband, Milind Soman, also commented on the post. He wrote, "Woah," with clapping and heart-eye emoticon. To which Ankita replied with heart emoticons.

Recently, Ankita was in the news for pointing out the racism faced by the people from the northeast. She had tweeted, "If you're from Northeast India, you can become an Indian ONLY when you win a medal for the country. Otherwise we are known as 'chinky' 'Chinese' 'Nepali' or a new addition 'corona'. India is not just infested with casteism but racism too. Speaking from my experience. #Hypocrites."
