ADG Arun Kumar writes to the state govt seeking transfer from UP

Additional director general (law and order) Arun Kumar is learnt to have sent an application to the state government seeking permission to go on deputation to the centre.

Additional director general (law and order) Arun Kumar is learnt to have sent an application to the state government seeking permission to go on deputation to the centre.

Kumar was appointed to his current post after installation of the Samajwadi Party government in the state. Sources said he was eyeing a plum post at the centre.

Though there was no official confirmation, it was learnt that his letter had gone to the home department for action.
