It may be mentioned that 30-year-old Manisha Singh was found dead inside the bathroom at her Hanumant Nagar residence in Madiaon on Sunday night. Her body had three gunshots-one shot from point blank range on the forehead, the second on the stomach and third on her back. The police said the assailant used her husband’s license revolver, kept in the house. The murder weapon was found lying on the spot, police said.

“The case has several aspects, which has puzzled cops probing into the matter. We have sought help from Lucknow forensic science laboratory experts,” confirmed SSP J Ravinder Goud.
