We may be a bit tired of cute movies in which dogs can talk, but that doesn’t mean the kids care.

This film, released before last year’s Christmas season, takes the old story line of ‘No one believes in Christmas any more so Santa plans to do something about it’ to its canine limits.

Mr Claus’ dog Santa Claus (obviously) isn’t the focus of the film — the posse called The Buddies are.

These are Christmas-sceptic mutts who along the journey to the North Pole recover their belief in two things: Christmas, and the innate power of cute Disney dogs at least during the festive season.
