A 23-year-old woman was found dead on the tracks between Diva and Kopar stations at 1.30am on Thursday. According to the Dombivli government railway police (GRP), the doctors suspect that the woman’s head injuries suggest she may have fallen off a moving train.

The Dombivli GRP officers reached the spot and rushed the woman to Shastri Nagar Hospital in Dombivli,” said S Pawar, senior inspector, Dombivli GRP.
