The MIDC police recently filed a charge sheet in the molestation case against Arunabh Kumar, CEO of The Viral Fever, saying that they had a strong case against him.
The 275-page charge sheet contains the statements of 14 witnesses and was submitted in the Andheri magistrates’ court on May 9. It also includes WhatsApp chats sent by the survivor to her friend, where she talks about being inappropriately touched by Arunabh and his obscene comments.
The police said that there was proof to suggest that the victim and the accused were in the same spot that day. The witnesses also include those present in the office. The police have taken photos of the crime spot and attached it in the charge sheet.
On March 29, an FIR was registered against Kumar for outraging the modesty of a woman who had worked with him on a project last year.
The incident, she alleged, took place in May 2016, when she interacted with Kumar over official work. The victim also came out in support of another woman, who first made allegations against Arunabh on social media.
