Locked flat in Mumbai building catches fire

A 10-storey residential building in Worli caught fire on Sunday afternoon.
After the civic body’s disaster management department received a call at 4: 48 pm, eight fire engines, five jumbo tankers and an ambulance were sent to Himalaya building, where a fire had broken out on the fifth floor. “The fire was confined to electric wing, electric installation and household articles in the locked flat,” said PS Rahangdale, chief fire officer.
Firefighting operations are still ongoing.
